Radical honesty, a form of authenticity that begins inside you, is a warm recognition that you gently apply to your conscious life. This view of radical honesty is not about telling everyone what you think. Instead, it is the root from which self-awareness grows.
“Radical Honesty” really resonated with me. I’d just finished it, and just felt that resonance, when I received a phone call from my partner, who is far away. I wish it went better. But I came from a place of honesty, and compassion…and this is new for me. Where in the past I would have swallowed my feelings, and felt guilt, and undeserved responsibility, I stood by my truth. Calmly and compassionately. I feel so calm inside.
