Love Without Forcing & A New Normal

  1. You can’t force your partner to change or heal in the ways you want them to. Even though you may think you know what is best for them and you see a clear way for them to deal with their inner issues or old pain, it does not work to push someone to do work that only they themselves can decide they are ready for. Of course, you can give suggestions and share what has helped you, but every person needs to walk the path of healing themselves, from their own volition. Love is founded on freedom, this implies that you need to lean into your acceptance and patience if you are committed to growing together. No relationship is without conflict or difficult moments, especially because individuals grow and heal at different speeds. At the same time, nothing should be taken to an extreme. Realizing that you have waited long enough and that you would benefit from being alone or finding a new partner who has the qualities you are looking for is something that needs to come from your own intuition and reasoning. The right action should emerge from within you and it should help bring balance to your life.

  2. Embracing your evolution leads to profound changes. The depth of your healing and growth is primarily revealed through the transformation of your behavior. It is also apparent in the decreased feeling of tension in your body and an emergence of tranquility in the way you move through life. The innermost change is that your mind feels less like a turbulent storm and your symphony of emotions spends more time ranging between peace and empowerment. There is nothing flawless about the period of your life that starts after you completely accept responsibility for your evolution – there are still hard moments, setbacks, massive challenges, hard decisions and heavy emotions that will pass through you. Even so, there is a slow change that manifests in your vibration, your energy starts emitting with a brighter radiance and eventually you will see that these positive changes are becoming your new normal.

Journal Prompt:

What new changes have you noticed in yourself lately? What is your patience like these days? Have you been giving too much lately or not enough? What are you doing these days to bring yourself back into balance?

Don’t look for perfect. Look for someone who is ready to be real. Don’t look for beauty. Look for someone who your intuition gravitates toward. Don’t look for no arguments. Look for someone who is ready to discuss things with gentleness.
