Hello Friends,
It has been a tremendous week with the launch of How to Love Better. I want to update you on everything that is going on.
I don’t think I could have ever imagined a week like this when I first started writing in 2014. It all feels surreal to say the least.
Everything started on Monday in Boston with a big event, about 500 people came and we immediately went deep. I was in conversation with Dr. Kristen Holmes, we talked about love, heartbreak, and what good communication actually looks like in a partnership. My family was in the front row!
The next day in NYC I got to film a segment on the Tamron Hall show that will come out March 25th. After that was the big event in NYC where about 500 people came. Had a great convo with Lindsey Simcik. I was surprised at how different, yet powerful the NYC convo was to the Boston one. It felt super special. You can see videos that recap the Boston and NYC events at the end of this email.
On Wednesday I got to film a segment on the Today Show and they let me sign my name next to all the other guests!
That same day the team at Meta and Threads held an event for me. Its called the Threads book club and it was so much fun. Suleika Jaouad was so kind and joined me as my in conversation partner. It was an honor signing books together at the end of the event.
Today is my big event in San Francisco! Excited to see all 1200 of you! Definitely the biggest event I have ever done. A few more tickets are left here.
I also got to do a special collab with Apple Books on IG. And I was shocked to see my audiobook at the top of the bestsellers list!
It is a great time to get a copy of How to Love Better, it is temporarily 33% off.
There are a limited amount of signed copies available here.
One of the best conversations I’ve had in support of my new book just came out. I got to really go deep into relationships and my experiences with meditating in this one.
This week has been a whirlwind. I keep thinking about my younger self and how much life has changed. My mom and dad moved us to the United States for an opportunity at a better life and I almost ruined that chance in my early 20s because I was afraid of my own emotions. Accepting my emotions and gathering the courage to witness my inner world is what made a new and better chapter in my life possible.
I am profoundly grateful to you. Thank you for preordering How to Love Better, thank you for sharing it with friends, your support truly means the world and I never take it for granted. I am always sending good vibes your way.
If you are interested in helping, the biggest thing you can do is leave a great review on Goodreads and Amazon. These reviews really impact the life of a book.
I hope my new book is serving you well!
Congratulations - and thank you for sharing your gifts with the world! Saw you speak in Boulder, CO tonight and it was wonderful. Keep going!! You are having such a powerful impact on so many.
