Reviews of my new book The Way Forward:
“Of the 3 books in the trilogy this is my favorite. He articulates his thoughts in such a simple way. ‘creating boundaries is a proactive way of designing your life’ is just one example of how beautifully he captures his thoughts. Highly recommend” - Michelle F
“Literally couldn’t put it down. Bought all three books and I attempted to mark each page with profound quotes and the book looks like a rainbow of sticky notes. Well worth the buy.” - Patricia T

Living from a place of love is an extraordinary challenge. Treating yourself well, staying in tune with your intuition, understanding and unpacking your emotional history is a large task on its own, it takes work to keep love flowing within you but living from love asks even more of you.
Love is an elevating force that cannot just stay within you, it seeks to shine outward and brighten the world. If happiness and inner peace are what you seek, then love is the only path forward.
First you have to develop it within yourself so that it can blossom in all the unknown and unhealed parts of your being. If your self-love is true and deep it will keep increasing and make your love for family and friends much clearer and more selfless. Genuine self-love will eventually create the beginnings of unconditional love for all beings. When you really start understanding yourself and the emotions you move through, you start to see that all human beings are going through the same spectrum of experiences. Even though each person has their own unique experience of life, we are all feeling the same set of emotions just at different frequencies and intensities. Understanding this will show you how similar we all are.
Love is not just a form of care, it also carries essential wisdom, it teaches the liberating lesson that it if you seek to be truly free you have to enhance your perspective so that more beings are encompassed by your compassion. Having love for all beings does not mean you have to be friends or agree with everyone, it simply means that you are no longer interested in directly or indirectly harming others.
By far the most difficult part of love is when you or someone close to you is harmed. The immediate reaction is often to return that harm to another, to make them feel what you felt. But retribution rarely creates external safety and it can never create internal peace, it just widens the circle of harm and creates more people who need healing. With enough wisdom it becomes clear that intentionally harming another wreaks havoc on your mind and fills your subconscious with great tension that will sit with you today and impact your tomorrow.
Love sees no one as an enemy, but this does not mean that it resigns you to a passive existence. Love can protect and preserve itself when it needs to. Love can inspire your actions and make them skillful as opposed to reactive. By its very nature love cannot act from a place of hate. Where hate seeks to dominate, control, and even destroy, love will do its best to produce generative actions that expand the bounty of joy and freedom. Love calls us to move in the direction of egolessness, to let go of fear and hierarchy and to treat each other with genuine kindness. The love within you will be in direct alignment with how you express love in the world.
Love is the condition needed for true harmony to exist. Love is a tiny revolution that happens in the human heart, that ultimately produces large waves of change. Love is a supremely clear perspective that helps you see the falsehood of all divisions. Let love become the lens that you use to see yourself and the world.
