Three Thoughts:
Imposter syndrome happens when you forget that you are capable of incredible things. The mind has the tendency to look at others and think of them as special, all the while lacking to acknowledge that you too have unique qualities that are admirable. Talent and timing are helpful, but what most often opens the door to success is consistency. What sets people apart is simply who is willing to keep going when things are hard, who is willing to adapt, grow and learn when success is not immediate. Consistency is what ultimately turns your talent into a skill that you can leverage and a gift that you can use to serve people well. It takes a certain degree of boldness to say yes to your vision, to follow the quiet pull in your heart that is pointing you toward better things, but once you get there, once you see the results of all the work that you have put in, don’t feel like you don’t belong, realize that this is a victory that you have been intentionally crafting.
