5 Star Review of The Way Forward
“I like to read Yung Pueblo's books slowly. I read a page a day and take time to reflect on the passages and focus in on the words and how they pertain to my life…I have found his books calming, eye-opening, and rejuvenating.” - Reagan

When you are open to finding a partner, people will come and go as you wait to feel a genuine spark. Once the spark is felt and you both feel the pull of a connection, it does not mean that the discovery process is over. If you understand that a relationship needs more than a connection, you will take the time to get to know an individual so that you can really see who they are.
When people initially describe themselves to someone new, they may describe the ideal version of themselves. This is why it is important to see if the way they describe themselves with their words matches up with their actions.
To build a beautiful relationship with someone you need to know who they are beneath the surface. It is easy to be the best version of yourself when life is running smoothly, but it is a much harder task to meet reality with your best foot forward when things get tough. You do not fully know someone until you see how they deal with challenges.
Are they overwhelmed by their stress? Do they make good decisions when things are chaotic around them? Do they run from their emotions or do they have the strength to face them? If you two have an argument, do they seek to win or are they interested in understanding your perspective and open to sharing theirs?
